How Green Tea Works in Skin Care Routine

Green tea is so good for you. This is a fact. In fact, in a recent study, a researcher exposed hundreds of minnows to highly radioactive substances. You would have thought they would all get cancer and die. Amazingly, they survived. What was the reason? They did not live in water, but in green tea.

You may not like the fact that they hit little minnows with radioactive substances. I'm sure most people don't. However, the results are favorable. Information like this makes me want to fill the bath tub with green tea or maybe drink a gallon a day.

People are now understanding the healing and restoration powers of green tea. Green tea and green tea extracts are becoming more popular because of this. You can get candies, sodas and even coffee with green tea infusions. Plus there are so many other products containing green tea blends that are available for consumption.

Nevertheless, one are hasn't caught on quite yet. That would be the skin care area. Companies have been talking a lot about it, but have yet to actually take any action. Not only is green tea wonderful for you body, it also works perfect on your skin.

Green tea is full of antioxidants. When you drink it, those anti-oxidants get into your body and do beneficial things like improving your immune system. Those antioxidants will start working right away when rubbed on your face.

Anti-oxidants are great for the skin. Just for starters, they fight off free radicals. Free radicals will attack your skin and cause wrinkles. At times, they will cause so much damage to the skin cells that they will become cancerous.

But, green tea skin care can do much more. Green tea extracts are used to help breathe new life into your skin. They ease inflammation and smooth out discolorations caused by the environment or using the wrong skin care products. You should add a green tea product to your natural skincare regimen. Adding green tea products to your personal skincare program will make you very happy.
