Fight Off Wrinkles by Eating Healthy Foods
Healthy foods aren't very popular. However, they can be delicious with very little trouble. If you are having difficulty forcing down fruit instead of fruit-flavored creamsicles, then consider using this information to give yourself a little extra motivation.
There are many healthy foods that also fight off wrinkles and other signs of aging. A great benefit to eating healthy is the fact that it will help you look younger and you will live longer. In other words, you should forego that peanut butter crunch bar and instead grab a handful of nuts. So this doesn't sound as good? Maybe it will by the time you are finished reading this.
If you want to fight the effects age has on you, then add the following foods to your diet:
• Oranges and other types of citrus
Oranges and other citrus and extremely high in vitamin C. Vitamin C is one of the best healers out there when it comes to literally sealing up wrinkles and cracks in your skin. Vitamin C is used widely in topical anti-aging products. But you must be able to heal from within too and if you eat oranges you will get a huge dose of vitamin C.
• Walnuts
Walnuts have some of the most antioxidants. Which can make them great suppliers of cancer fighting compounds. It will not only possibly keep skin cancer from developing, but it can also fight all types weathering.
• Green tea
Green tea is also a wonderful source for antioxidants.
• Almonds
Almonds and almond oil contain large amounts of vitamin E. Scars and stretch marks will be diminished when applying vitamin E topically. It can also diminish existing age spots. But if you take it internally, vitamin E can actually help prevent age spots from forming in the first place.
(Note: if you are about to have surgery, ask your doctor about the appropriate amount of vitamin E for your diet. Some people will bleed more when taking extra vitamin E, so you may just want to stop taking any supplement at this time)
