Waist Exercises To Get Abs Quickly

Usually the only 2 waist exercises that most people perform are the standard crunch and the sit up. While these stomach exercises can be effective up to a point, they certainly are not the most productive stomach exercises to do.

Your abdominal muscles can really be hit hard through using an exercise ball. Take it slow until you become used to balancing yourself.

When you sit on the ball, put your hands on the side of the ball. Then lean backwards and raise the legs. This is where you may find it difficult to balance. What happens here other areas of the stomach area come into play to help you stabilise your balance.

These stabiliser muscles would not get any sort of workout if you were doing this on the floor. Then begin to move as if you were cycling. Once you have got the hang of this, you can take your hands off the ball and stretch your arms in front of you, this gives your abs a great workout and is a really effective waist exercise.

The next exercise will be like a normal crunch but also done with the use of an exercise ball. This exercise will involve being seated on the ball and your hands placed on the chest or behind the ears. Unlike the basic crunch, where you take your body forward, you will be bringing your legs to your body. Bring your knees towards your chest as you lean back.

Your problem of your balance would fall to the stabiliser muscles. You will feel your ab muscles being targeted, and even more so if you do this exercise slowly.

The thing to keep in mind is that you need to pick waist exercises that are going to target different areas of the stomach. This will allow a wider area of your stomach to get a workout and give you a better end result.

Apart from these 2, there are lots of other effective waist exercises which can give your stomach a tremendous workout. However there are lots of different waist exercises which you can use to get six pack abs.
