Lose Muscle Quickly on Purpose
I am pretty certain that it is Politically Incorrect To Say "Lose Muscle"
I'm convinced that it's politically incorrect to talk about 'losing muscle'. You always hear people say slim down. I'm as guilty as anyone. I just think that people don't address the subject properly. For some people, it actually makes sense to try to lose muscle mass.
"Aren't We All Suppose To Gain as Much Muscle as Possible?"
I hear people talking about losing fat, or losing weight, but rarely about losing muscle. 'Losing muscle' comes across as a very negative term. According to almost all of the information that the media provides, more muscle is preferred to less muscle.
I Dropped 25+ Pounds of Muscle Nine Years Ago
My story is that I spent the first 12+ years of working out to try to get as big as possible. I couldn't find clothes that fit right, I felt heavy and slow, and I was tired of carrying around all of the extra weight. I also came to the realization that I really didn't look good, and as big as I was, it seemed like I was trying too hard. I slimmed down in about a year. I've been carrying around much less muscle these past nine years and I look and feel better than ever. Here is the way that I accomplished this:.
Dropping Resistance Training : Legs
This was a hard one for me to decide to do, since I used to make fun of guys that just trained their upper body. The problem is that if your legs are big, almost any resistance style exercise is going to help you maintain that size. I did lunges, and used light weights. I also tried low rep training. Generally, training with low repetitions won't noticeable increase muscle mass, but where legs are concerned, employ more caution.
Best Muscle Loss Techniques : Marathon Cardio
If you've decided to try to lose your muscle mass, you should try 'Marathon Cardio' exercises. Jump on a treadmill and do a medium to high intensity steady state cardio for an extended period of time. Try for 45-60 minutes at the fastest pace you can do safely for that long. Marathon cardio is used by boxers to "make weight". It is really referred to as road work, but it is very high intensity running for a long time period.
A Calorie Deficit and Low Calorie Diet Will Speed Up the Process
Don't go too extreme here, but it certainly doesn't hurt to go low-cal during this period of time. It's also smart to reduce calories every once in a while in your regular diet, as it allows your digestive system to detoxify itself and recuperate. To do this, start exercising on an empty stomach, and avoid eating until around two hours after your workout to eat again.
