How to get a six pack in 3 minutes

Today in our busy world, most people have little time. This situation means that people are looking for quick fix solutions in all areas of their lives including their fitness.

So first of all let me be clear if you are looking to get a six pack in 3 minutes then you need to be a little more realistic .

If your only doing 3 minutes of training every week you will not get a six pack. You really need to be training 3-6 times a week and folllowing a healthy diet plus eating the right amount of calories to get your body in a fat burning state. Anyway if you are really struggling to find time for exercise here are a couple of tips and a great 3 minute workout that not only burns fat but works the whole body including abs really well:

1. Focus on intensity

Whenever you are looking to lose body fat and reveal your six pack, intensity in your workouts is very important. If you are only managing to fit in a few minutes of exercise per day then you need to be working at the highest level of intensity you can manage.

2. Proper Technique

During your workouts always make sure that you are performing every rep with good control and proper technique. The result of doing this is that the muscles get worked much harder which means that your workouts although short are effective. If you are feeling that your technique or form are not quite correct then either reduce the weight or slow down the rep tempo.

3. Total Body Workouts

When time is limited then just doing ab exercises is not the best way to a six pack. You really need to be burning as many calories as possible during each session and the best way to do this is by performing workouts that target the whole body. For getting your body in a fat burning state and working all the muscles in your body including abs  high intensity resistance workouts are excellent. For those that are a little uncertain of this then try this workout for just 3 minutes and feel the results:

1 Kettlebell/Dumbbell 2 handed Swings - 1 minute

2. Press up with mountain Climber – 1 minute

3. Dumbbell Squat to overhead press  – 1 minute

Perform as a continuous circuit with no rest between each exercise.

This workout will have you dripping sweat and panting for breath in no time plus it is working your abs hard for the whole 3 minutes .

So just applying these tips to every training session means that even though you are only exercising for short periods you are giving your body a very effective workout.  Once you have reached the point when you can do this workout or a different one at maximum intensity then either start increasing the weights or change the exercises.

So as we can see getting a six pack in 3 minutes is not impossible but if you want better results and more quickly then try and increase your workouts to 15-30 minutes every session. Also remember that if you want a six pack and don't eat the right foods all this hard work will be for nothing.
