EA Sports Active Personal Trainer Challenges Wii Fit

EA Active—New Wii Workout Game

The EA Sports Active Personal Trainer is in stores now.Are you bored with your Wii Fit exercises?  EA Sports has developed a new exercise game for the Wii gaming system that will expand your ability to exercise with your Wii.EA Sports Active is different in many ways from the Wii Fit.  You are definitely going to want to put this video game on your must-buy list.

EA Sports joined with Bob Greene to develop a challenging exercise game that can work for anyone.Bob Greene is know for being Oprah's personal trainer and is author of the bestseller, The Best Life Diet, as well as other diet and fitness books.  The game even comes with a pep talk from Bob Greene as players begin the program.

How does this game differ from the Wii Fit game?Separated into three main sections, nutrition, lifestyle, and fitness, the EA Active game primarily focuses more on fitness exercises than games and game play.  The fitness section is the core of the program.  Unlike Wii Fit, EA Active allows for 2 players to interact with the game at the same time.  Now you can have an exercise buddy join you in your workouts.

The game comes with a controller leg strap which allows the player to connect the nunchuck controller to his thigh. This allows the nunchuck controller's motion sensors to be used when doing exercises like jogging and boxing. A resistance band, also included with the game, adds intensity to exercises like shoulder lifts and biceps curls. The Wii balance board is sold separately or with the Wii Fit game, not Wii Active. It is, however, completely compatible with EA Sports Active Personal Trainer and will enhance the intensity of your workout exercises when used with this game.

If you are ready to step up your fitness routine, EA Active may be just the program you need.  Wii Active is the perfect complement to your Wii Fit game and will add more variety and intensity to your Wii workouts. You will discover many ways to customize this game to your own unique fitness goals making this a great addition to your exercise routine. You'll use it for many years to come.
