I found this site on accident; however, I have found some useful and thought inspiring commentary there. The blog on that site is run by a Dr. Hill. The site is called weight matters and it can be found at: http://www.revolutionhealth.com/blogs/jimhillphd

Shure e2c earphones - iPod earphone replacement/alternative for exercise/workout

Monday, April 23rd, 2007

As you can see from the previous post, I am in the earphone selection process. In my search, I am looking for earphones with quality sound production, sound isolation and secure fit (I don’t want my earphones falling out while I am on the treadmill).

This leads me to the Shure e2c earphones:

I put my weight loss vehicle in “park” again!

Wednesday, April 4th, 2007

Over the last 6 months, I have battled with will power once again. During the Winter months, I began visiting the local Popeye’s chicken, Wendy’s and McDonald’s once again. My weight steadily increased up to 327 pounds! Progress lost once more! As of the first week in March 2007, I have refocus my efforts and put myself back on a lower calorie, lower fat diet. I am now eating between 1500 to 2500 calories a day. Since March 1st, I have successfully dropped the weight to 314.

My biggest reality that I must come to grips with: “I must make lower calorie eating a lifestyle if I want to lose the weight and keep it off. ” It is clear to me that I gain weight very easily and I must become vigilant or suffer the consequences.

After that, my weight loss went into “park” due to the reasons discussed in my September 2006 blog entry.

You have to eat right or kiss the weight loss goodbye!

The Green Tea answer to increase weight loss. Oprah’s drink formula.

“Here we are in September. I am now 43 pounds lighter; however, it is not without a very good lesson that derailed me a few months ago.

Hey, I had been eating right and losing weight. It couldn’t hurt to add a little fast food back into the equation. I mean after all I am working out hard. I can burn it off.

Wrong!

I began to put a meal a day in from Wendy’s or McD and….weight loss stopped! Weight gain started.

Hello and Welcome!

Monday, March 20th, 2006

Hi,
Welcome to my chronicles on fighting obesity with exercise. The issues here are going to focus on the unique challenges that those of us over 100 pounds face when it comes to exercise.

I will be revealing the things that work right for me as well as the things that don’t. I have been at this a little while and I have gotten over some hurdles. Hopefully, you can learn from some of the things I have learned and it will make your road easier.

God bless.
